6 Days of Writing, Reading, & Creative Escape - December 27th - January 1st
Having 2.5 hours meant when I got stuck, I would just move on to another thought, feeling or memory rather than allowing myself to stop altogether. Getting 12,000 rough-draft words written feels like a huge step forward. Plus it was fun to write in community!

Loved the "forced" breaks. I'm terrible at taking breaks and tend to run myself into the ground. The breaks helped me step away, breathe, drink some water, get fresh perspective on the piece. It was also amazing to know I'd have space for my writing. It reduced my stress a ton.
