Who are you?
I'm Amber Petty. A freelance writer for 9 years, I've written for the New York Times, Bustle, Thrillist, and others. Over the last 3 years, my students have been seen in Huffington Post, the Wall Street Journal, the New Yorker, the Washington Post, Business Insider, and tons more.

Also, I've grown my list to 11,000 people and have a successful business. I'm the weirdo that likes marketing or the algebra of writing, as I like to call it.

We tend to think of marketing as a necessary evil, when really, marketing gives you creative control.
